On September 13, Canadian Valley Baptist Church ordained Nick to the Gospel Ministry after thorough examination and opportunity to test and determine his calling to preach and minister.
New Website
This is our new church website, and it will serve as a great tool for every member and every guest. There are a couple of unique features with which you will need to get yourself aquainted.
Home Page - Here you will find a calendar, our schedule, announcements, upcoming events, and other interesting tools.
Photos - This will provide a great place to observe the fun and meaningful events that surround the ministry of CVBC.
Sermons - This section will be an area where you can listen to sermons from our services.
Member Area - Here you will soon be able to connect with members and guests from our church. It will be an online directory (with pictures) and also a place to discuss what is going on in your life.
Prayer Requests - At the Prayer section, you can submit prayer requests for church members and friends to read and pray for.
However you use the new website, you will surely find it a great place to keep connected with our church and other believers who love the Lord.

VALENTINE'S DAY BANQUET
Our Valentine Banquet will be held on Sunday, February 14, beginning at 5:00. Entertainment will be provided by the husband and wife team of Kelly and Robin Anderson. (Kelly is the minister of music at Brookwood Baptist Church.) Please sign up to bring two dishes (side, vegetable, salad or dessert) and the church will provide the meat and bread.

2010 LADIES' RETREAT AT FALLS CREEK
Join the women of CVBC as we go to the Ladies' Retreat at Falls Creek April 16-17. This year we will looking at our comfort zones inside our church walls and how God calls us out of that comfort, causing an interruption that leads us on an adventure of faith. If you are ready for a journey of finding joy, love, purpose and, most of all, Jesus, join us for this retreat. SPRING REVIVAL
We will have revival services May 8-12. We will kick off with a dinner on Saturday night, May 8. Preaching will be done by Brother Wayne Bristow and there will be lots of Southern Gospel. Plan to attend every service!

GUATEMALA MISSION TRIP
The Guatemala mission team will provide a meal after the morning worship service on Sunday, March 13. The meal is free, but you may make a donation to the mission trip being planned for May 29 - June 6. Even if you can't donate to the trip at this time, please plan to join us for the meal and the fellowship.

CROSSTIMBERS 2010
The Children's Ministry will be attending Camp Crosstimbers in June. The cost for this camp is $130.00. (Money is due by mid-March.) Please see Michelle Gilbert to sign up your child. Scholarships for this camp would be greatly appreciated.
